New Horizons Orchestra 2017 Summer Session

Now is the time to think about joining this special New Horizons Orchestra Summer Session.  Ten rehearsals throughout the summer, under the direction of Olive Bopp.  Olive, in addition to her grand sense of humor, is a remarkable teacher with a wealth of musical knowledge.  We won’t take ourselves too seriously.  We’ll survey a variety of interesting string ensemble music Olive has found for us.  No concert is scheduled.  Wherever  you are on your musical journey, you’ll find our Summer Session renewing and inspiring.

Summer Session rehearsals begin Tues Jun 6, 6:30 pm.  10 rehearsals, two hours every Tues evening except July 4, thru Aug 15.  We rehearse at First English Lutheran Church – North, 6331 North Ballard Road, Appleton.

Never an audition, never a solo (unless you volunteer!).  Our orchestra is open to all adults who wish to play in a string orchestra.  No experience necessary.  We have string beginners as well as some who’ve played with the orchestra for many years.  Regardless of experience and background, we all strive to make the orchestra enriching in every way.   Join us!
