New Horizons ORCHESTRA 2020 Spring Session

Important announcement:  Orchestra rehearsals are on hold until the virus danger has passed.  We’ll return to our  normal schedule as soon as possible.  Stay safe, enjoy the spring weather, and keep practicing.  Remember, music brings solace and joy.

Spring, finally, Spring!  Director Rachel Richards and everyone in the orchestra welcome you.  It’s a time of renewal for us and for the orchestra with fine new music and another great concert to look forward to.

Our 2020 Spring Session begins Tues Mar 10 6:30pm.  11 rehearsals, every Tues evening through May 12.  Our Spring Session concludes with a concert with the New Horizons Band 2pm. Sunday, May 17.  No pressure; our concert counts as a rehearsal, because for us, it is!  The concert is free and open to the public.

Tuition for the Spring Session is $110, due Tues Mar 10.  You may opt for our two-payment plan:  $55 due Mar 10, then $55 due Apr 7.

Never an audition, never a solo (unless you volunteer).  No experience necessary.  The orchestra is open to all adults who wish to play in a string ensemble.  We have beginners along with some who’ve been with the orchestra for years.  All adults, of any age, all abilities are welcome.  Regardless of your experience and background, we strive to make the orchestra a friendly and open ensemble in every way.  Visitors and potential new members are always welcome.  Come join us!
