New Horizons Orchestra 2023 Spring Session

New Horizons Orchestra 2023 Spring Session began Tuesday, March 21.   Registration is closed.

Welcome, if you’re new to the orchestra; welcome back, if you’ve been with us in the past.  The Spring Session has rehearsals every Tuesday evening through May 16.  A concert with the New Horizons Band is planned for Saturday, May 20.

Every interested adult is welcome, even if you’re new to music or to string instruments.  Instruction is provided for beginners, enabling them to join the full orchestra at the earliest opportunity.  And help is available for every member wanting it, at 6pm on rehearsal Tuesdays.  There is NEVER an audition; this musical ensemble is simply for the love of music, and the joy of playing in our friendly group.  We have some who’ll be brand new to the orchestra, and some who’ve been with us since the orchestra’s founding in 2004.  Some of the music played is easier, some a bit more challenging.  Wherever you are on your musical journey, you will find fun, fellowship and understanding in our string ensemble.

Tuesday evening rehearsals begin at 6:30pm and end around 8:15.  All are welcome, even those new to music or to string instruments.  Bring your violin, viola, cello, or string bass and join our wonderful group.  Music for the Spring Session is provided, and must be returned after the concert.
