Orchestra Treats!

Orchestra Treats!
Do you know violinist Jude Running? She’s our unofficial orchestra hostess often providing treats for us at break time. Did you know she has her own published cookbook? (copies are for sale; just ask her!) Jude is always busy. When she’s not playing her violin you might find her recreating some of her favorite recipes in the Williams-Sonoma kitchen out at the mall. Or she might be entertaining her grandchilden or planning a giant cookout at her cottage.
Eleven years ago, Jude got her violin as a gift from her husband, John. She joined the New Horizons Orchestra right away and Olive taught her to play. Jude has been with the orchestra ever since. She says this: “The value of the orchestra to me is in one word – priceless! It is still one of the loves of my life and I look forward to every practice session that we have.”
Our middle-of -the-rehearsal orchestra break is no accident. It’s there so we can all visit and get to know one another better. In her role as hostess, Jude will be providing a treats sign-up sheet. Please sign up to bring one of your treats for all of us to enjoy at one of our rehearsals. Jude and the rest of us will thank you!
